Its time for a spring clean around Park Hill! Park Hill Residents’ Association are holding a litter pick on Saturday 24 April between 10:00 and 12:00. Although the estate grounds are kept well clear of rubbish, we will turn our attention to the surrounding environment such as South Street, Duke Street and Granville Street.
As your health and safety are of utmost importance, we will implement appropriate social distancing and cleansing measures, provide suitable equipment and deliver a health and safety briefing beforehand.
To ensure we have an idea of how many people will be attending (so sufficient equipment is available), please can you confirm by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
We will meet at the main entrance at the bottom of South Street. Please check our event calendar on the day in case there are any changes or cancellation due to bad weather. We look forward to seeing you!
WHAT ARE WE DOING TO KEEP YOU SAFE?
- We have produced a risk assessment for this litter picking activity. Please familiarise yourself with this, particularly the Controls section. We will reiterate the highest risks when we meet.
- Gloves, hi-viz vests and pickers will be provided. Please see the size charts below to see what size you will need beforehand, to avoid handling multiple items and ensure you get the best fit.
- Picker handles will be sanitised before use and hand sanitiser will be available
